Overview
Piriton Allergy Tablets are a well-established antihistamine treatment used to relieve symptoms caused by allergic reactions. They contain chlorphenamine maleate, which works by blocking histamine — a substance released by the body during an allergic response that causes symptoms such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, watery eyes, and skin irritation.
Piriton is commonly used to manage hay fever, pet allergies, dust allergies, and reactions to insect bites and stings. It is also effective in relieving skin allergies such as hives, rashes, and itching. Thanks to its fast-acting formula, Piriton helps control allergy symptoms quickly, allowing you to go about your day with greater comfort.
Piriton Allergy Tablets are suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over. As with many antihistamines, Piriton may cause drowsiness in some people, making it important to use with care, especially when driving or operating machinery.
