Overview

Phenergan 25mg Tablets are a versatile antihistamine used to treat a range of conditions including allergic reactions, travel sickness, nausea, and insomnia. They contain promethazine hydrochloride, which works by blocking histamine in the body — a chemical responsible for allergy symptoms — while also acting on the brain to reduce nausea and cause drowsiness when required.

Phenergan is commonly used to relieve hay fever, skin allergies, rashes, itching, and hives, as well as to prevent and treat motion sickness, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. Due to its sedating properties, it can also be used short term to support sleep, particularly when symptoms such as allergies or travel disruption interfere with rest.

Phenergan should be used exactly as directed and is intended for short-term or occasional use.

Do not exceed the stated dose.
